MAC CLASS/ HAUL

For my birthday my friends offered me a MAC 90 minute class, which was something I really really really wanted. This is how it works: first the makeup artist asks you some questions about your skin type and habits and then she picks a few products to show you. She starts doing your makeup and explaining it (in half of your face, you have to do the other). The value of the class is convertable in products. 

Here is what I have picked:

I really wanted to try the MAC Studio Fix Fluid for a very long time. I have combination skin so the makeup artist said that this foundation would be good for me because it gives a matte finish.

This is the MAC Select Moisturecover concealer in shade 15. I didn't know this product but I actually liked how it looked in my face.

This is the very famous MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in the shade "Soft and Gentle". I am in love with this highlighter, it gives a natural and glowing look (without looking greasy), leaving you with the right amount of glow.

I also picked the MAC Animal Instincts Blush from the new collection "A Novel Romance". It is a beautiful shimmering plum shade. I think it is a very pretty colour for fall and it will flatter all skin types.

The MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot. I have heard sooooo much about this product and was looking forward to try it. I chose the shade "Painterly", which is a nude colour. It is very creamy and I will use it as a primer for eyeshadows.

A MAC matte lipstick. I have been obsessing about really deep red lipsticks, but I couldn't find the perfect shade. The makeup artist was wearing this lipstick and I fell in love with it. She picked it up for me and I knew I had to have it. I love matte lipsticks because they don't dry my lips and last longer. If you like matte dark red lipsticks try this one. "Hearts Aflame" is a limited edition shade that is launching with the fall 2014 "A Novel Romance" collection.

I really liked the class, the makeup artist was very helpful and gave me great tips. From now on, whenever I want to buy some products from MAC I will schedule a class and then bring the products home, that way you end up with a free class!
